We have established the Sovereign
Certification scheme for the following reasons:
We believe that:

Certification can be productive and
useful by providing an applicant with useful tools such as sample
documents and enabling the to make their own assessment of conformance in
tandem with a qualified review.

The only people that are ever really going
make a difference to what is going on inside an organisation are the
people who work there. We encourage the applicant to take charge of the
process.

A personal declaration by an organisation that conformance to a standard is adhered to is a powerful
commitment to its customers.

That cost should not be a bar to meaningful
certification.
