We have identified the following benefits of
the Sovereign Certification scheme for certification.

The major benefit, especially for smaller
organisations, is cost. We recognise the difficulty for many organisations
that want to show conformance to the standards; that cost is often a
barrier.

Sovereign Certification provide an inclusive
service including example documentation and suggestions for
straightforward solutions to many of the requirements of the standards.
These are provided "free" and advice is provided inclusive to all
applicants. Most smaller companies cannot afford to utilise the services
of an independent consultant and do not have a lot of time to develop
their own systems from scratch.

Utilising the Sovereign Certification scheme
the applicant takes ownership of the process and this engenders better
conformance. The inclusion of a Declaration of Conformance within the
certification process means that the organisation is making a real
commitment to meeting requirements.

Choosing the Sovereign Certification scheme
allows the applicant to move to an accredited certification if the need
arises.

Sovereign Certification are able to offer
consultancy as part of our certification service. We believe that
assessment is very rewarding when it is provided with consultant advice.

by any conflict of interest and are able to support clients in their aims
and objectives of meeting the requirements of a standard and their
